Gruen Transfer : "The Pitch"
Australian ABC's Gruen Transfer
On an Australian television program, Gruen Transfer, there’s a fascinating segment known as "The Pitch." Each week, two competing advertising agencies are pitted against one another and given the challenging task of selling what is often deemed unsellable.
Loud & Clear was selected to participate in this segment, where they faced the formidable challenge of crafting a persuasive argument in favour of banning religion, a concept that is typically met with significant resistance and debate.
Being over a decade ago, I wanted to keep this project featured in my portfolio, as it was my very first contribution to a creative endeavor showcased on national television. I played a role in designing various elements within this animation, and it made me feel immensely proud of what we accomplished together. It is that sense of achievement and satisfaction that I continue to strive for with every brand and job I undertake moving forward.

Working with Bo, our Creative Lead and Ben the Managing Director, we set about the ambitious task of creating an illustrative style that was equal parts childhood imagination and the delightful subversiveness, characteristic of Monty Python. This unique approach marked the first time that this particular style was employed on "The Pitch."
The process was both exhausting and thrilling, representing a significant creative endeavour that required collaboration and dedication from the entire team. Ultimately, we’re pleased with what we came up with, feeling that it truly captures the essence of our vision.
